Inspiration: Like most artist, Aleksandar Kirilov  – who paints the canvas artwork that is the basis of LaLucca’s Art Bag Collection – doesn’t work within a set theme or see seasons as boundaries. New paintings are created all the time and the current offering has a mixture of geometric tribal (as evident in Giza and Cleo) and Asian art (seen in the wave prints on Akita and Dragon Waves.

Stand-out Silhouettes: the texture and color combinations on Autumn Stripes (Art Bag Collection) and the GI Jane satchel inspired by Michael Jackson’s famous military jacket (part of Signature Collection). We also love that the elongated Wendy, a popular silhouette from 2009, has come back in a mini version for those days when a smaller clutch is all you need.
